Equity Youth Health Experience Program Fund
The Equity Youth Health Experience Program supports hiring youth from Indigenous and equity communities in Nova Scotia who are interested in healthcare careers and have completed grade 11, grade 12 or first-year post-secondary.

Indigenous Screen Office – Travel Funding:
The Sector Development program is designed to support a wide array of initiatives and projects that aim to strengthen and grow the Indigenous screen sector. Workshops, labs, incubators, research projects, community based programs, and funding for organizations whose mandate is to develop the Indigenous screen sector should consider applying to this program.

Canadian Benefit for Parents of Young Victims of Crime
The death or disappearance of a child is devastating and can leave parents unable to work. If you are a parent or legal guardian who consider to/or have taken time away from work and suffered a loss of income to cope with the death or disappearance of your child or children, you may be eligible for federal income support. The benefit provides eligible parents with payments of $500 per week, paid every 2 weeks, for a maximum of 35 weeks over a period of 3 years.

Emergency Management FireSmart Program
The Emergency Management Assistance Program supports wildland fire non-structural mitigation and preparedness initiatives through the FireSmart funding stream. FireSmart builds skills in First Nations communities to prevent and prepare against wildland fires

Emergency Management Non-Structural Mitigation and Preparedness program
The Emergency Management Assistance Program supports non-structural mitigation and preparedness initiatives through the Non-Structural Mitigation and Preparedness funding stream. This stream is proposal-based and funds non-structural projects undertaken by First Nations communities on reserve to prepare for and mitigate emergencies caused by natural disasters, such as flooding; landslides; tsunamis; severe weather; and drought. The goal of the Non-Structural Mitigation and Preparedness funding stream is to assist First Nations communities on reserve to increase their preparedness and mitigation capacity through initiatives

Oshki Wupoowane – The Blanket Fund
Oshki Wupoowane launched on September 30, with an initial $1 million investment from Hudson’s Bay Foundation and a commitment to direct 100% of net proceeds from the sale of all HBC Point Blankets to The Blanket Fund moving forward. Since then, The Blanket Fund has grown to more than $1.5 million, which will be disbursed to successful applicants over multiple years.

Community Healing Fund
he Community Healing Fund, offered through the Na-mi-quai-ni-mak (I Remember Them) Fund at the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) can provide a one-time grant of up to $10,000 towards community healing gatherings or workshops connected to the Indian Residential School System. Eligible recipients include non-profit organizations, Indigenous (First Nation, Metis, and Inuit) communities, Survivor organizations, schools, band offices, etc.

Commemorative Support Fund
The Commemorative Support Fund, offered through the Na-mi-quai-ni-mak (I Remember Them) Fund at the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) and in partnership with Parks Canada to support Call to Action 73.9 can provide a one-time grant of up to $25,000 towards commemorative symbols and activities connected to the Indian Residential School System.

Community Training Partnerships
This program provides support for third-party organizations to deliver community and regional activities aimed at increasing skills development, including workplace essential skills, in the labour market in the Northwest Territories (NWT).

Declaration Act Engagement Fund (DAEF)
The Declaration Act Engagement Fund (DAEF) provides multi-year (4 year) non-repayable funding contributions to First Nations to support their capacity to engage with the Province of B.C. on the implementation of the Declaration Act Action Plan and alignment of Provincial laws with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples both of which must be done in consultation and co-operation with Indigenous Peoples in B.C.

Capacity-Building Funding for Indigenous Communities
In support of PDAC’s priority to promote engagement between Canada’s Indigenous communities and the mineral development sector, PDAC has developed a comprehensive catalogue of all available federal, provincial, and territorial government capacity-building support programs that can serve to facilitate Indigenous engagement with the mineral development sector, and to contribute to active participation in related activities

Women's Initiatives Grant
To provide one-time-only funding for special projects that supports the cultural, economic, political, and social participation of women in the Northwest Territories. Special Projects may include but are not limited to, the following: workshops, conferences, publications, life skills development, and support to organizations involved in these activities.

Aboriginal Participation Fund - Education and relationship-building
helps Indigenous communities and organizations in Ontario enhance their understanding of mineral exploration and development processes and develop relationships between Indigenous communities, industry and government.

Employee Training Program
This program offers funding to employers to offset the cost of training employees in the Northwest Territories. Training includes employee up-skilling due to economic, technological or organizational change. It may also be used to support individuals who are under-employed, or employed and in need of training to maintain or move to a different or better job.

BC Hydro - Programs for Indigenous communities:
The Indigenous Communities Conservation Program (ICCP) provides funding and support for energy efficiency upgrades in Indigenous communities. All Indigenous communities within our service area are eligible to participate in the program for the benefit of their community and its members.

Gender-Based Violence Community Initiatives Fund
The Gender-Based Violence Community Initiatives Fund provides funding for community-based initiatives across the Northwest Territories that support the implementation of the National Action Plan to End Gender Based Violence.

RBC Youth Mental Well-being Project
Funding programs that address youth and family’s immediate need to access mental health services, a critical area identified by parents, youth and experts in the field.

Grocery Gift Card Support
Unison’s Grocery Gift Card Support program was created to support music workers who earn the majority of their income from the Canadian music industry and are experiencing food insecurity due to unemployment, underemployment and/or the high cost of living.

Building Communities through Arts and Heritage – Community Anniversaries
Building Communities through Arts and Heritage – Community Anniversaries component provides funding to local groups for non-recurring local events, with or without a minor capital project.

Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program - Legacy Fund Stream
This funding stream provides funding for community – initiative capital projects, intended for community use.

Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program – Local Festivals
This funding stream provides funding to local groups for recurring festivals that present the work of local artists, artisans, or heritage performers. This includes the celebration of LGBTQ2+ communities and Indigenous cultural celebrations.

Canada Cultural Spaces Fund
This fund supports the improvement of physical conditions for arts, heritage culture and creative innovation. The fund supports renovation and construction projects, the acquisition of specialized equipment and feasibility studies related to cultural spaces.

Emergency Management Assistance Program
In partnership with First Nations communities, provincial and territorial governments and non-government organizations, this program helps communities on reserve access emergency assistance services. EMAP provides funding to First Nations communities so they can build resiliency, prepare for natural hazards and respond to them using the 4 pillars of emergency management.

Exhibition Circulation Fund — Museums Assistance Program
This funding opportunity assists museums with the costs related to the hosting of travelling exhibitions originating from another museum or from a federal heritage institution and the borrowing of artefacts from any of the National museums of Canada.

Community Support, Multiculturalism, and Anti-Racism Initiatives Program – Events Component
This component provides funding to community-based events that promote intercultural or interfaith understanding, promote discussions multiculturalism, diversity, racism and religious discrimination, or celebrate a community’s history and culture such as heritage months recognized by Parliament.

Canada Arts Presentation Fund – Professional Arts Festivals and Performing Arts Series Presenters:
This funding stream supports existing professional arts festivals and performing arts series presenters to offer activities that connect artists with their Canadian communities.

Creating, Knowing and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples – Travel Projects Component
Grants support travel costs to attend significant events within Canada or abroad that advance your professional development, enable you or the artists you represent to access new markets or build national and international presence.

Strategic Partnerships Initiative
This funding initiative provides a way for federal partners to coordinate their efforts, reduce administrative burden and pool resources in support of Indigenous communities. This initiative helps Indigenous communities participate in complex economic opportunities.

Creating, Knowing and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples - Indigenous Organizations
The Indigenous Organizations component of Creating, Knowing and Sharing funds First Nations, Inuit and Métis organizations that engage in contemporary, customary or traditional artistic and cultural activities. These activities can include non-Indigenous artists and collaborations with non-Indigenous organizations. Grants support the exploration of innovative strategies for Indigenous creative and cultural expression, and related administrative activities.

Community Opportunity Readiness Program
This program addresses the financial needs of Indigenous communities when they are in pursuit of, and wish to participate in, an economic opportunity. The program is a consolidation of the former community economic opportunities program, the major projects investment fund, and the community-based components of the Indigenous business development program.

Indigenous Pathfinder service
This is a one-stop shop for advice and referral to help navigate the relevant information, tools and support available to start or expand activities in the agriculture and agri-food sector. The service strives to ensure you do not miss out on support and other business opportunities available.

Innovative Communities Fund
This program supports projects that build the economies of communities in Atlantic Canada.

Indigenous Leadership Fund
The Indigenous Leadership Fund is a program under the Low Carbon Economy Fund. It provides up to $180 million by 2029 to support climate action by Indigenous peoples. The program funds Indigenous-owned and led renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low-carbon heating projects. These projects will help meet Canada’s 2030 emissions reduction target and net-zero emissions by 2050.

Canada Media Fund
The Canada Media Fund (CMF) supports the creation of popular, innovative Canadian content and software applications. There are two streams: the Experimental Stream and the Convergent Stream. Learn more about the CMF funding programs.

Documentary Heritage Communities Program
The call for proposals 2025-2026 will open on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The purpose of this program is to provide approximately $ 1.5 million in funding each year to local organizations in support of Canada’s documentary heritage. The term “documentary heritage” refers to records and publications (written or audio-visual) that reflect Canada’s history.

CanCode
CanCode helps empower youth in an increasingly digital world. This program funds not-for-profit organizations to teach instructors and youth, especially underrepresented youth, digital skills like coding, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Creating, Knowing and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples – Short-term Projects Component:
he Short-Term Projects component of Creating, Knowing and Sharing funds First Nations, Inuit and Métis professional and aspiring artists, cultural carriers, arts/cultural professionals, groups, collectives and arts/culture organizations. Grants provide support for any combination of eligible Creating, Knowing and Sharing activities for projects lasting up to 12 months.

Arctic and Northern Challenge program
The program aims to address pressing issues impacting the quality of life of Northern peoples. The program is committed to prioritizing Northern-led research projects that have a strong focus on Northern capacity building.

Creating, Knowing and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples – Small-Scale Projects Component:
The Small-Scale Activities component of Creating, Knowing and Sharing funds activities that will advance your artistic career or practice. This may include acquiring materials for artistic production, engaging in career or artistic development activities or benefitting from specific expertise, advice or training from a professional artist or cultural carrier.

National Anti-Racism Fund – Project Grants
The CRRF is accepting applications from organizations working on anti-racism projects in Canada. These projects must be implemented between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.

Call for applications: 2025 Venice Fellowship
The Canada Council will award 14 fellowships, prioritizing applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis people, Black and racialized people, Deaf people or people living with a disability, people from official language minority communities, youth, 2SLGBTQI+, belonging to gender-diverse communities, women and those at the intersections of these identities. The Canada Council will also ensure that the fellowship cohort reflects the regional diversity of Canada. A shared apartment in Venice will be provided in addition to the grant to help support travel and living costs.

Agricultural Clean Technology Program: Research and Innovation Stream
The Research and Innovation Stream will support pre-market innovation, including research, development, demonstration and commercialization activities, to develop transformative clean technologies and enable the expansion of current technologies

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls+ Community Response Fund
The Government of Saskatchewan is committed to advancing reconciliation in collaboration with First Nation and Métis communities and organizations to address the issues raised in the Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. The grants are for projects that promote and enhance prevention and build safety for Indigenous women, girls and Two Spirit+ people, along with their families and communities.

Seventh Generation Fund
Seventh Generation Fund annually raises funds to grant out and has limited funds to distribute throughout different regions of the Indigenous World across our four program pathways.

Small Grants Program for Sports
The Small Grants Program is intended to encourage and support organizations to look at new initiatives that will encourage greater sport participation and leadership in under-represented and marginalized populations in Prince Edward Island. The program will encourage strategic partnerships.

Community Emergency Preparedness Grant (CEPG) 2024-2025
The Government of Ontario’s Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund (CSRIF) is a $200 million capital funding program designed to revitalize existing community sport and recreation infrastructure and support the construction of new facilities across the province.

Community Safety Fund
Funded by Women and Gender Equity Canada and delivered by Fierté Canada Pride, the Community Safety Fund is a direct result of member-informed advocacy for 2SLGBTQIA+ needs. FCP has secured a $1.5 million to redistribute funds to Pride and 2SLGBTQIA+ organizers addressing growing safety concerns in an environment of rising anti-2SLGBTQIA+ hate.

Active Communities Fund
The Active Communities Fund helps communities encourage movement through policies, social initiatives or physical environments in Nova Scotia. Projects should support community members who are less active or who have fewer opportunities for movement

Association of Ontario Midwives – Research Grants
Provided through funding from the Ontario Ministry of Health, the Mentored Midwifery Research Grant, the Project Midwifery Research Grant, and the BORN Data Access Grant support Ontario-relevant research that improves care for midwifery clients and their families.

First Nations and Métis Community Partnership Projects
The Government of Saskatchewan is committed to advancing reconciliation in partnership with First Nation and Métis organizations, as well as all Saskatchewan citizens. Consider applying for funding from the First Nations and Métis Community Partnership Projects if your group is partnering on an innovative project that fits into one of the following categories: Safe Communities; Strong Families; Student Achievement; or Economic Growth.

Community Violence Prevention Program
The Community Violence Prevention Program provides grants to support targeted, community-driven efforts, led by community partners within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, particularly those in rural areas, to combat violence against high-risk populations.

Creation Grant
Creation is a multi-level funding program that supports strengths-based, community-focused and youth-led projects taking place in communities across Canada. Grassroot youth groups/collectives (comprised of Indigenous youth ages 15-29) are eligible to apply for funding to support community programs and projects while receiving innovative mentorship, training and capacity-building opportunities.

Call to Action 50 – Revitalizing Indigenous Legal Traditions - Anticipatory Call for Proposals:
Starting in 2024-2025, through the Call to Action 50 (CTA 50) Funding, the Government of Canada proposes to invest $5.5M over three years to provide opportunities for Indigenous governments, communities, organizations and academic institutions to carry out projects to revitalize Indigenous laws and legal traditions.

Call for Exhibition Proposals: Photography
Struts Gallery is seeking proposals for an exhibition of photographic and lens-based work. We invite proposals from artists at all career stages based in the Atlantic region (Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI) to present work that sits outside of and/or transforms traditional forms of photography – landscape, portraiture, street, documentary, and still-life. We welcome proposals from artists from groups that have historically been underrepresented in gallery spaces, such as Indigenous, Black, artists of colour, disability-identified, and 2SLGBTQIA+ artists. Proposals from artists who work with non-traditional, experimental forms of making and displaying lens-based work are highly encouraged.

This is not a funding opportunity; however, Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) are seeking new members for the Indigenous Women’s Circle.

Indigenous Reconciliation Program
he Indigenous Reconciliation Program provides funding for work that helps build and maintain relationships between Indigenous communities and the Department of National Defence/Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF).
Indigenous Visual Artists' Materials (IVAM) Program
The Indigenous Visual Artists' Materials (IVAM) program supports Ontario-based Indigenous artists working in the visual arts, crafts, or traditional/customary art forms to create artwork. The Inuit Art Foundation is an official recommender for this grant and strongly encourages all Inuit visual artists to apply. Inuit artists wishing to apply should submit their application to the Inuit Art Foundation through Nova, the Ontario Arts Council’s grant application system. As part of the IAF’s mission to expand opportunities for Inuit artists, it only recommends Inuit artists for funding. First Nations and Métis artists are also eligible for the program and can apply through the following recommender organizations on the Ontario Arts Council Recommenders list.
Grants of $500 or $1,000 are available to help cover the cost of the following expenses:
materials and art supplies, such as wood, fabric, thread, stone, leather hides, sinew, beads, needles, photographic printing, inks, metals, paint, canvas, paper, pencils, etc.
small tools for making the artwork or for harvesting or gathering materials, such as blades, carving tools, awls, scissors, etc.
purchase of materials or tools required to run or participate in workshops
delivery: cost of transporting or shipping materials and supplies
travel costs for gathering natural materials

The IAF will convene an external jury of Inuit to assess applications according to this rubric:

The 2 Billion Trees (2BT) program has launched an ongoing call for proposals – applications can be submitted anytime. The 2BT program will process and assess proposals based on the submission date and provide decisions at specific intervals. Tree Planting Stream: for organizations, including for-profit organizations and non-profit organizations interested in tree planting projects.
