The Aboriginal Participation Fund was developed to help support Indigenous communities and organizations participate in:

• regulatory processes under the Mining Act

• economic development activities associated with mineral exploration and development

There are five streams available:

• advanced exploration and development support

• early exploration support

• education and relationship-building

• mineral development advisor stream

• values mapping and related projects
